On Vacation But working

I have been working on the opening credits expanding them and fixing it up.Also I am getting your emails but probably won't respond till I am back home after July 28th.
So here is the opening sequence which should be intelligent and work well.Write down your comments on this section and let me know if this meets all your approvals.

Audio has a few collages I will create using multi-track and by fading/mixing this should be cool.They will be used for audio on the credits.I have a great idea of how to do this cool.I have the gear to make this montage interesting as sounds will be stereo and flow quite nicely.I could find 100's of sounds to use.It might even sound kind of like a changing radio stations does on a old short wave radio.

AUDIO MONTAGE 01 = big guns/sounds of war montage.Lots of gun sounds,soldiers yelling,various machine guns,etc say it is the sounds you hear in battle
AUDIO MONTAGE 02 = the sounds of Nazis like Hitler and other officials speaking
AUDIO MONTAGE 03 = the music of WW2 that is the Nazi songs sang and the military marches/music as well as the popular music soldiers liked.

Now onto the credits themselves....................................................
ONE
Black screen comes up.Using audio montage 02 we start with an indistinct and reverb type voice that will come into clarity with reverb changing to no reverb and sound will get louder on the black screen.the whole thing might last 10-20 seconds tops.
TWO
All of a sudden from nowhere loud explosions and scenes of big guns going off.this might startle the audience and last around 6 - 8 seconds.use only big loud gun sounds
THREE
Now we see some cool German like font come up and say 1939 then Poland and show us some clips of the Polish Campaign
Note that at this point the audio will morph into a cool collage of war sounds utililyzing the 3 montages I will create.
FOUR
Now the action moves too Europe and we see 1940 Europe using the cool fonts. audio uses montages and real footage from the campaign
FIVE
Now show scenes of the Eastern Front with 1941 RUSSIA using real footage from the campaign.
SIX
Now fade down to black and have indistinct type soldiers talking and maybe some Panzer tank or other vehicle sounds but not to loud here.
Write this text or a better text saying this type of stuff:::::
1944 and Germany is losing the war.
Now show clips of German army burning panzers,men retreating,dead soldiers,etc all german stuff showing them losing the war.
"As the German army is smashed on the Eastern Front new army groups are formed from the remnants of once mighty divisions.Somewhere on the Eastern Front one small group is trying desperately to make it safely back to their lines.
Image fades to black at the same time the audio morphs to a WW2 German military march and then it is time to do the cast/opening credits

CAST OPEN CREDITS STUFF
For our cast members I enjoy this type of shot.
Do a quick "action" shot of the actor using a gun,or running, or another type of action.import into edit software as action and after a short time just freeze his clip on screen.with frozen still clip you will put his character name and real name there.this should look decent.Go thru and do all the cast this way except the real minor players.you would probably show each actor like maybe 3 - 5 seconds.
The audio on this can be a simple military drum beat with nothing else, or military march music, or maybe someones original music from this group of volunteers.
some part of me thinks that using only a drum beat for the cast/open credit part might be really cool.What do you think of just the single drum type thing on this part.
After we show the info here it goes to black and then comes up to the main film itself.
THE FILM OPENING SHOT
At the very beginnning I want to take a camera and run thru the wooded area we use so I can use the camera POV to show the running thru woods.For just 10 - 20 seconds I guess you will hear soldiers yelling off camera but see that view from your eyes as you run fast and you would also hear that running soldier's heavy breathing.Some explosion sounds off camera will be good.We will make it obvious someone is running for their live in a battle located in some deep forest.

A few quick last things here................
1.My friend Michele's boyfriend out here in Minnesota is German.He will help me think up a whole slew of fake German names we can use for our German soldier characters.I will write em down on paper for reference.
2.I am slowly brainstorming on a name for the film.Since I believe we can get a decent film doing the following:
A.realistic German soldier action will teach you of "what was it like" to be in an army.The guys I am using on the Internet truly know a lot of soldiering and they will show us how it all worked.some folks might even learn something watching this movie

B.marriage of the HPL !!! we come up with a main character who is from a family who had done dealings with HPL's Elder gods.Our main character is the last descendent of his bloodline.Our main character does not know of the fact he is cursed.thru flashbacks we learn little by little his back story.

C.we try to make this film with intelligence not dumbness !!! let us try to keep this film as realistic as we can so it looks and feels real and the plot/dialogue is thought out and done cool.

D.we don't have to go all out on the HPL stuff.By doing so it will only make HPL fans interested in this and not a larger audience.Maybe this film will be like 2/3rds war and 1/3rd HPL....does that make sense and what do you think ?

E.Once I have my main character's name (which I am brainstorming on) then I will have my film title.I will do that this week I hope.I do have some names in my head.I do have film names too in my head.What I will do is throw out a few at the group and see what you all will think.
